I decided to have to take some long exposure shots tonight as I did not have much time to really explore some better areas. I settled with my local area as there was some active night life due to it being the day after new years. Due to not having a lot of time on my hands today i took a long exposure motorway photo, pretty cliche but I stand by my decision in the end it was not so bad.
After walking for some time I noticed this creepy church that would probably not look so creepy if it were daylight but i am easily amused so this was definitely going into the blog. It would have looked beter on my opinion with a bigger aperture and longer exposure to give a more dynamic look.
This photo came out with a good sense of distance due to the softness in the background and the reflection of the car lights as it passed slowly through the night. I had the light balance to tungsten light after the "Shade" mode made it come out dark, honestly I didn't think this would come out this well but after waiting 8 seconds i was quite pleased.
