Today I wanted to try macro again due to the last attempt not going so well. unlike the last one i had a bit more time to plan ahead and found another useful way to use my macbook cover as a sort of backdrop. The dark backdrop did well in adding focus onto the colour of the some fruits i used and blended well with the softness.
During the shoot I experimented with the reflective surface of the macbook itself which acted as a light aswell as a backdrop. The aluminium surface reflected must light in the room which lit the edges of the items I had placed, making hem look like they were floating.
While messing around further I couldn't help but replicate the mac logo and make a more "natural" adaptation.
I couldn't stick with the fruit the entire time and using the same backdrop was getting boring so i tied some stitched leather, simply because i admire aged look it reflects. The leather was quite reflective of light so i made sure there was not too much light and had a shorter exposure on my camera to compensate.
